I'm proud to present the first sketch I've uploaded. Up until now I've been adamant I submit only pix that look relatively alright lol.
But this made me laugh. Plus I drew just then and would rather go to bed than colour it now... maybe one day I will. (pfft, nuuu!)
So this is my Lestat. I draw him this way when I can't be bothered to try. Though.. I do always give him that curl of hair... why (u might ask.. if ur bored enough to be reading this)..? Well, does anyone remember this poem:
There was a little girl,
Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
When she was good,
She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.
~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow ~
No? Well.. if you've eaten enough sugar it may remind you of the world's bestest bloodsucker.. cept for the girl bit. Seriously though, think about it ....
(p.s. if you're wondering where you've heard what he's saying before.. go watch the trailer for 'Ratatouille' )
(p.p.s. OMG! where are his SLEEVES?!?! ugh *failure*)
eeeeeek i <3 lesty!!!
but especially ur sketches of him....
p.s

Now this is funny. I'm not a big fan of Lestat but this is just too funny not to fave. Plus, I adore the way you drew him... that 18'th century coat. You pulled it off with awesome and win.

When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
