FMA - a quiet apology

I apologise myself for my further absence, but you may recall how I mentioned my tonsillitis? I'm now pretty positive there's more to it.. glandular fever, measles and scarlet fever have been in the talks. Blood test tomorrow, yay. Suffice to say I'm very unwell at the moment.

*wheezy sigh*

Anyway, at least it means I've finally gotten around to nearly finishing Fullmetal Alchemist.. and in my current state nearly every second episode makes me cry. I lie there watching it thinking, "this truly is such an amazing, creative story.. but wow, so much death of the innocent." Ah lurvs eet, ah do _{(the show. not the death of the innocent. that pains me.. I wish ep 25 had never happened)}

So I crawled onto my computer long enough to colour this. I'm not really fangirl-ish about pairings in FMA, but Roy and Riza warm my heart... just because you really can tell how much they're not saying to each other. I has depicted the aftermath of ep 36 and their emergency peace-keeping while hunting for Scar amidst the Ishbalans

I crawl back to bed naow.





<sub>p.s. Nu, they're not meant to be looking at each other. I know it looks like I tried to make them look at each other and failed, but really he's glaring at her wound, and she's glaring at the corner of the tent. They're doing this because they know if they make eye-contact instantaneous and incendiary love-making all around the medical tent will follow.


p.p.s. .... I think someone needs to take Roy aside and quietly tell him that, as far as anime-men go, his hair is particularly stupid. I know that seems like a big call, but just draw it and you'll see what I mean. Goku ain't got nuthin on Roy's fringe.
